      Grades 8-12 The Drake Chronicles maintains its arch humor, tasty chills, and quick but compelling character development. This time, one of the vampire twins, Quinn, is featured as the love interest of a teenage human who is training as a vampire hunter. Plot points include a mysterious drugging in a school, political negotiations between vampires and humans as they take on a mutual enemy, and what amounts to racial prejudice against vampires.
