Johansen returns to the world of Eve Duncan, Joe Quinn, and Jane MacGuire--suspense with a touch of supernatural--to resounding success and ties up some loose ends and romantic possibilities from past books. The final scene will be especially enjoyable to series fans. Enthralling, entertaining, and completely satisfying.
