Songwriter Dahlia Green has lost her midas touch—not that she ever really had it to begin with. Okay, so a few of the songs she wrote were recorded, but business has disastrously dried up and she's convinced no lucky break is lurking around the corner. Unless, that is, Dahlia can convince her estranged cousin, Sunny, to forgo the rights to a song they cowrote years before. But there's a problem: it's been twenty-five years since Dahlia last saw her and Sunny has spent her adult life in and out of mental hospitals. What begins as a selfish scheme to find her at all costs, however, evolves into a journey suffused with love that will enrich Dahlia's life and enable her to fulfill a promise she made long ago.
